What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Browser local storage and session storage are separate technologies that can also retain information. Their use should be assessed by purpose, not merely by the name of the technology.
What these pages use
The website’s own HTML and JavaScript do not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. They do not include analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking code. Menu state, scroll-reveal state and generated contact text exist in the current page’s memory rather than in a persistent website preference record.
| Function | Behaviour | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Navigation and entry effects | Temporary page state; no cookie or browser-storage entry. | Current page session. |
| Dispatch draft | Form fields and generated text remain in the page. Browser form restoration is controlled by your browser. | Until cleared or the page is discarded, subject to browser behaviour. |
| Copy note | Writes text to the device clipboard only when requested. | Until replaced or cleared by your device. |
| Download note | Saves a text file only when requested; not a cookie. | Until you delete the file. |
Hosting and external websites
Ordinary browser caching may retain copies of site resources. Hosting infrastructure can process technical request information as described in Privacy; server logs are not browser cookies. External source links open independent websites, which may set their own cookies after you visit them. Their policies apply on those sites.
Your controls
You can inspect and remove website data through your browser’s privacy settings. You can also disable JavaScript; the articles and source links remain readable, while the local message generator and enhanced mobile menu behaviour will not run. Downloaded notes and copied text must be managed separately on your device.
If optional tracking or persistent preferences are introduced in future, this policy must be updated and consent obtained where required before those technologies operate.
